Laura Jenkins, LAPC

Laura brings both compassion and expertise to her work as a therapist at StableMind Wellness. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology (Mental Health concentration) and Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, as well as a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Capella University.

Laura is a Tier 3 provider with Star Behavioral Health Providers (SBHP), a designation that highlights her advanced training in military and veteran cultural competence and evidence-based practices. This specialized background allows her to skillfully support service members, veterans, first responders, and their families as they navigate the unique stressors and transitions that come with those roles.

Grounded in a collaborative, integrative, and trauma-informed approach, Laura tailors every treatment plan to meet her clients’ individual needs and goals. She draws from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, and trauma-focused care to foster safety, growth, and lasting change.

With a warm and down-to-earth presence, Laura believes that therapy should feel like a partnership built on trust, curiosity, and compassion. She enjoys working with both children and adults, helping each person feel understood, empowered, and equipped to heal from the inside out.
